Awesome Stuff

• A new trailer for Speed Racer came out today. It looks cool. Really really cool. Some bad CGI though. I'm not gonna hold 5 seconds of subpar effects against it though.
• Iron Man is supposed to be really good. I will definitely be checking it out on May 2.
• New Hulk poster. Edward Norton is my favorite actor but I need to hear some serious good things from this to make me forget Ang Lee.
• Hancock is supposed to be bad. NO SHIT, as in of course it sucks.
• Austin Powers 4 has a script. Woohoo! It's coming.
• Early Oscar contender: Doubt
• The Forbidden Kingdom Good? I hope so.

Summer Movies

1. Speed Racer

You can't not love crazy cars combined with martial arts.
Plus, the Wachowskis have earned goodwill with
the Matrix trilogy and V For Vendetta.

2. Get Smart

Steve Carell is funny.
Anne Hathaway is hot.
Alan Arkin is overrated.
The Rock is underrated. (No one shoot me.)
This looks hilarious and cool.

3. Iron Man

Just check out the trailer. You'll understand.

4. The Dark Knight

Any other year, this would have been #1.
But I'm giving precedence to non-sequels.

5. Wall-E

Again, watch the trailer.


6. Hellboy 2

Watch the original and Pan's Labryinth.
And the trailer.

7. Wanted

Angelina Jolie and the weird train that falls off a cliff and turns sideways from vertical..
Never mind. You know what to do.

8. Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones 4

I need a full slate of May blockbusters.

9. Incredible Hulk.

I'm not gonna watch Get Smart twice, am I?

10. Mummy 3

What is this?
Whatever. It's the only release in August.
